Scoliosis

Scoliosis means that the left and right vertebrae are bent and deformed in an "S" shape. The symptoms of most scoliosis patients include high and low shoulders, asymmetry of the pelvis, and short and long feet.

Cause
20% are congenital and 80% are acquired. Acquired is due to poor posture. The patient's muscle balance will be poor, because the spine is on one side, and the pressure on the soft tissue on the left and right sides is different, causing the spine to bend left and right.

Symptoms / symptoms Scoliosis is generally divided into three degrees, and the severity is divided by left and right curvature.

<20 degrees: high and low shoulders, long-term pulling of the muscles on both sides of the spine cause tension, shoulder and neck pain and muscle weakness.

20 degrees to 40 degrees: chest shape changes, muscle spasm, thoracic spine bending and rotation> 40 degrees: causing severe back deformity, if the angle of scoliosis continues to deteriorate and press the heart and lungs, cardiopulmonary dysfunction occurs, and even the patient dies.

Generally more than 15 degrees before being diagnosed as scoliosis
